Explore Research Behind Power Plate

In our office, we use Power Plates in tandem with Chiropractic care to promote strength and stability of your spine and nervous system with mirror image posture setups. A 2010 study conducted by the University of Antwerp aimed to investigate the impact of whole body vibration (WBV) combined with caloric restriction on weight, body composition, and metabolic risk factors in overweight and obese adults. The results revealed that incorporating WBV along with a hypocaloric diet not only helped maintain weight loss but also contributed to a greater reduction in visceral adipose tissue (VAT), the fat that surrounds and accumulates within internal organs.
